Our Values

We encourage all members of Christ Church Bayston Hill to do these five important things:  

 1. Attend services and main events

As we seek to develop our lives of faith and follow Christ we recognise the need to do this through coming together as a gathered church community.

2. Join a home group

Alongside our main gatherings, home groups provide the opportunity to explore Christian themes and teaching through worshipping, praying and sharing in a more relational setting.

3. Pray

There are regular events to facilitate prayer in the life of the church...

Weekly Morning Prayer (Tuesday during term time 9.15-9.45 a.m.) and ONE (normally the third Sunday in each month at 7.00p.m.). We also recognise the need to support one another in our personal prayer lives as we look to walk closely with God and receive His guidance.

4. Discover a way to serve

There is much to do in the life of the church and in the community. Every one of us has an important part to play. We want to be a church where all are involved and active. As we develop as a church community the Lord will achieve a great deal through us if we use the gifts he has given us, and serve where help is needed.

5. Give a portion of income regularly to the church

At Christ Church Bayston Hill we want to be a generous community responding to God’s generosity towards us.  We look to provide our church with resources to do what we do well, in addition to demonstrating God’s generosity by giving to other projects and organisations.
